Family dispute resolution programs are a non-adversarial way of resolving arguments and conflicts that may arise in family disputes without involving authorities such as the court system. It can be used to resolve family and other types of disputes, provided the nature of the conflict does not exceed the limits of the law.
How this program works:
No one expects to be socially embroiled in a dispute within the family.
Issues can escalate if disagreement or agreement becomes unbearable and other family members take sides or fuel the dispute behind the scenes. The sooner the parties realize that they are in a dispute, the sooner they can begin to solve problems.
There are several things that you can try on your own but if these things do not work, then it is wise to get help from someone who can help you resolve the issues.
It is not always necessary to bring everyone to the event. Sometimes working through it yourself with professional help may enable you to find solutions you didn't think of. Sometimes a dispute requires legal adjudication, such as child contact in families where there is a history of violence, and yet legal adjudication will not resolve the conflict. It will just make an order which must be carried out by law and the rest may be resented.
Sometimes the parties really want to settle it but have exhausted everything they know how to do and in those cases getting support from a suitably qualified and experienced mediator can unlock the problem and help everyone move forward. can help you grow.
